A strong win for Mystyko at the Sunshine Coast

mystyko_sunshine_coast2_231016_670resizeMystyko won at the Sunshine Coast over 1,200m yesterday by a length and three quarters from a field of 12. It was his first race since arriving in Queensland just a few weeks ago.

Trainer, Trevor Rogers said, ‘Mystyko raced well, his sectionals in the last 400 and 200 were the best of the day for the same type of horse which looks great for his future.

‘He pulled up fantastically this morning and will probably run again in a fortnight or so.

‘We gave him a couple of runs as a two-year-old to prepare him for this three-year-old campaign.  He’s a nice strong individual with a great mental and physical attitude that makes him an adaptable horse to train.

Jockey Glen Colless, said ‘He’s a nice horse, I’d really like to ride him again’.

Glen is a jockey of few words so it’s meaningful that he said as much as he did.
