Ad Finem (Fastnet Rock x Quilly Park’s Avienus) won over 2050m at Strathalbyn on Wednesday, October 3rd under jockey Kayla Crowther.
It was the first win of his South Australia campaign for Stephen Theodore.
‘It was pleasing that the horse had been heading in the direction of a win with a close second on his last run over 1700m at Penola’, said Theodore.
Ad Finem had been showing signs of wanting 2,000m at home. To see him win over that distance at Strathalbyn was very satisfying.

‘He’s been an absolute delight to train. All of his form was around 1400m, in his track work he told me that he wanted further and further.
‘I’m sure that the horse has got more wins installed. There are exciting times ahead as we take him into the rest of his preparation’, added Theodore.
‘He’ll win again on his next start.’
