Another debut winner for our stallion

Bonjour De Gaulle (x Plan The Peace) started as favourite and won his maiden by a length on debut today under Craig Williams at Cranbourne over 1000m.

Bonjour De Gaulle’s win gave our stallion De Gaulle his 4th winner from 8 runners.

He’s been well managed by his owners and I’ve always been told his trainer Trevor Rogers is a great conditioner and a great horseman and he made my job easy today.

He drew the outside barrier for his first start and had to do a lot of work, but he gave me full confidence.

He was too good for these horses and has a really nice future.

Craig Williams, Jockey

Bonjour de Gaulle is a half-brother to black-type winner Mystyko and is the fifth winner from six foals to race from Plan the Peace.
