The Park
Quilly Park is a privately owned enterprise providing a relaxed boutique environment for horses within the Thoroughbred Racing Industry.
The on-going development and vision is to create a small diverse operation which includes breeding, rearing, education and racing.
Quilly Park is situated on 20.1 hectares of prime horse and pastoral land, located a short distance from the township of Pearcedale overlooking Westernport Bay. It is also within easy access to both the Cranbourne Training Complex and Turf Club.
Our gardens and grounds are being developed into a park-like setting, creating a calm and tranquil environment for our horses, clients and visitors of the community to utilise, experience and enjoy.
The historical significance of Quilly Park dates back to 1870, when the original ‘wattle and daub’ cottage currently located on the property was constructed. It is recorded as the oldest known farm-house in the former Cranbourne Shire and amongst the earliest in the West Gippsland region.
Since it’s inception, throughout the years many improvements have taken place to the original property, in more recent times having undergone a large number of additions and renovations including extensive re-fencing, stabling, irrigation, plantings and the cultivation of seasonal vegetable, fruit and flower gardens.
