Scripta (Palentino X Avenius) broke through for an impressive maiden win at Mornington on New Year’s Day at just her third race start.
Ridden by Joe Bowditch, the promising three-year-old filly lead from pillar-to-post over the 1500 metre distance, producing a good kick in the final furlong to win by 2-lengths on the line.
She’s a progressive staying filly that has come a long way in a short time.
We’re hoping she can keep going forward with momentum towards some Listed and State trophies.
