Taberna won over 1,400m from a 14-strong field at Sale on Sunday, March 29th.
It was a pleasing result considering that the mare had just come back from 12 months off following an injury last year.
I thought she was going to win very easy but the time between races took its toll.
Once she gets over a bit further and improves in race condition, it’ll be exciting.

Quilly Park’s trainer Trevor Rogers said, ‘I’m super impressed with her effort after so long away from the track. To win first up over 1400m after 12 months off is a super trying effort by the horse’.
