Mystyko raced to a 3 length victory over 1,200m at Murray Bridge on Saturday, January 16th under Sophie Logan.

Jockey, Sophie Logan, said, “I love him, I always have. I used to ride him at Cranbourne and the Picnics and have a good connection with the horse. He’s one of my favourites.

It felt brilliant, very powerful, strong on the finish and felt good through the run.

Mystyko will definitely go on for it.

“I’d love to ride Mystyko again, he’s such a gentleman. He’s so professional and does everything you ask of him,” added Logan.

Racing ahead to a three-length win.

Trainer Trevor Rogers said, “Sophie has gone from the Picnics to become the leading apprentice in South Australia.

“Mystyko has gone from the Picnics to Stakes level.

“They have climbed the ladder together. It was a fairytale reunion for them both.

He’s shown us that he’s still got it.

“It was good to see Mystyko in form again after taking so long to get back into condition.

“Now he’s right he’s shown us that he’s still got it. I am very proud of his effort,” concluded Rogers.
