Quilly Park are delighted to have entered into partnership with Yea Racing Club for the 2017-18 season.
Our association with the Victorian Picnic Racing club began during the 2016-17 season.
We had such a good experience we have decided to consolidate our relationship and sponsor this season’s leading trainer and jockey awards.
Quilly Park, Yea Racing Club and Yea St Pats Race Club will be presenting the winners of each title with a $500 Cash Award on Yea St Pats Cup Day at the end of the season.
If you haven’t yet ventured to Yea, we highly recommend it as a fantastic family friendly day out with a great atmosphere.
There’s nothing quite like the picnics and those in the know return again and again.
Yea township is surrounded by rolling hills and farmland and is a gateway to the snow fields of Mt Buller and Mt Stirling beyond Mansfield.
Records exist showing that the races were held at Yea before 1900.
With a long history of racing, the Club is located on the western edge of the Town and holds great tradition with the local community.
